Restorative Yoga

This 2 hour class will begin with a seated meditation focusing on breath control (pranayama).  We will work into a short period of gently moving our bodies, which will lead to several restorative postures.  Each posture is 5-7 minutes long, where props (bolsters, blankets, blocks) will be used to allow the joints and muscles to completely relax, allowing for a deeper stretch and opening.  The session will end with a 40 min. Yoga Nidra (Yoga sleep).  Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that will bring your mind and body to the “space” right before sleep, again, allowing for complete relaxation.  You will leave class feeling relaxed and renewed.
